Quartier d'été
Even closed, the museum keeps building connections.
Throughout the summer, our outreach activities continue beyond the museum walls, staying close to the public.
Deeply rooted in Lyon’s 8th district—especially in the États-Unis neighborhood—the museum is taking part in the “Quartier d’été” program, coordinated by the États-Unis Community Center.
A friendly, festive event imagined for and with local residents.
The 6th edition of “Quartiers d’été” will animate life in the 8th arrondissement of Lyon throughout July and August 2025.
From Moulin-à-Vent to Laënnec, from États-Unis to Mermoz via Langlet-Santy, there will be no shortage of opportunities to have fun, meet people, or escape the everyday!
Once again this year, the City of Lyon, the local district council, the Lyon metropolitan authority, the French State and numerous community organizations have joined forces to offer a rich lineup of free activities for residents:
outdoor cinema, performances, events, creative and sports workshops, open-air dance evenings…
Something for all ages, all tastes, all summer long, and in every neighborhood!
A vibrant, colorful program—just like the traditional fireworks show on Place du 8 Mai 1945, set to light up the sky on July 11.
